In this video tutorial, Creative Cow contributing editor Eran Stern demonstrates a cool way of designing a text title for a Telenovela soap opera opener using Illustrator open type font.
Just make sure to start Illustrator before lunching After Effects, then it should work. It is how the Windows Clipboard works. In MacOSX it doesn't happened :=)

I am following the tutorial exactly. I am having problems with copying in the outlines created in illustrator over to vector art in AE. I go to copy in illustrator though when I get to the point to paste in AE I go to edit and paste and though it is listed it is greyed out and will not let me select it.
I tried importing the text as different formats from illustrator but I don't know how to make it into vector art.
I'm using Vista (Which is likely my biggest problem)

I am on a Mac running Leopard, and yes I can download it fine (Save file as) from here but on iTunes it gives me an error saying "The URL cannot be found on the server"

I also have a technical problem to report, I can't download this in iTunes. All the other CC podcasts work fine though.
